I didn’t realize when I ordered the neon, but it didn’t have a front light. Well, it doesn’t, and I think at that price point it should have a front light. And it really turned me off that I made the mistake, and that a $200 bike helmet did not have a front light. I don’t wear it that much. I prefer my aura one blackbird a bit better because it’s got a front light.
I saw an ad for this helmet right after purchasing my first ebike and so far I LOVE IT!! I feel a lot safer having the lights on the helmet and be able to let cars know which direction I’m going w the directional feature and lastly crash detection that will let whoever I add on the app to be notified of I’m ever hit or in an accident. Definitely worth the money!!
I thought it would cover my eyes at least as much as my regular cycling glasses do, to protect against dust and debris in the wind. But because they protrude so far out from the helmet, there's a very large gap between them and my face, letting wind and dust in. Also, that makes the view awkward because I can always see the bottom of the visor in my view. I'd rather keep wearing my regular glasses at this point without a way to adjust the distance, but unfortunately I'm past the return window.
The active turn signals on your helmet really help drivers see you and be aware of your intention to urn Great product!

I’ve been really impressed with it. It’s bright, compact, and pairs seamlessly with my AURA helmet. The automatic brake detection is brilliant — it reacts quickly and makes me feel much more visible to traffic behind me, especially in low light. The build feels very durable and the battery life is excellent. It also looks great on the bike and doesn’t feel bulky at all. It’s a perfect companion to the AURA and the Remote — the whole system works together exactly as advertised. Really happy with the purchase and would highly recommend it. Thanks for another great product.
It's a small device but makes a huge difference. The turn signals are super intuitive to use while riding, and I love that I don't have to take my hands off the handlebars for too long. I gave it four stars because sometimes the lights on the helmet and rear smart light don't respond to the command to come on simultaneously as they should when the remote is pressed. For this reason, I have to power on the helmet individually. Build quality is solid and it mounts easily and stays secure, even on rougher roads. Battery life has been great so far as well. It really completes the whole AURA system and adds a lot to both safety and convenience. Very happy with it overall. Thanks again to the team for such a thoughtful product ecosystem.
Best commuter helmet I’ve owned — Stingray is stunning in person. 5 ***** stars for the UNIT 1 Aura MIPS in Stingray — Size L, Ultimate Pack. I commute daily on my Fiido Air Ultra-Light Carbon Fiber E-Bike around the flat Cheltenham roads (10 mins each way) and wanted something that was actually visible to cars. No doubt, this helmet delivers. What stands out: • *Stingray colour:* Photos don’t do it justice. Pearlescent grey that flips silver/blue in sunlight. Matches my Fiido Air perfectly, premium finish. •*Safety:* MIPS, NTA-8776 e-bike certified, Virginia Tech 5-Star. The visor works fantastic. I will definitely be ordering the Adaptive visor for sunny conditions.
Magnetic mount snaps on below helmet brim, adapts to lighr as advertised. Reduced wind and bugs in eyes.
Repurposed the mounts intended for a clothing clip-on and the bike saddle to 2 rear bike racks using rubber bands. None of the available mounts were designed for rack mounting.

Purchased 2 helmets with remotes and visors. LOVE THEM! Only issue is that one helmet arrived without a working front light. Have submitted a request to review for a warranty claim. Other than that, we are really liking them! UPDATE: After contacting Unit 1 about the faulty light, we received a prompt response and a new, replacement helmet is on the way! Great products and great customer service! We look forward to many outstanding (and safe!) rides in our Unit 1 AURA helmets.

Good safety features letting others know when you are going to turn and in what direction. I also feel safer with the brake light feature when I have to stop suddenly.
Another great accessory to the helmet for those sunny days enabling your vision for better safety. With also can be attached to the helmet when not used at the time you start your ride and easy move when needed later.
Great helmet that fits perfectly with plenty of safety features. I feel more confident and comfortable wearing this helmet riding on whatever surfaces and no matter what the speed I choose safely to ride. The sun visor is a really good feature that is optional and still be available attached to the helmet for when you need it.
Easy to install with good accessibility for safety letting others know what you are about to execute. Turns or emergencies.

My daily delivery moment with my Unit 1 ❤️❤️
My wife and I became interested in biking recently after retirement and purchased a couple ebikes. while researching the ebikes we saw reviews on the Unit 1 Aura helmets! We were immediately impressed and placed an order for each of us. I connected my wife's helmet to her phone in only a few minutes, however mine would not cooperate!! I thought ohboy here we go! We will be trapped in a doom Loop of telephone AI. And initially that's what happened, to our surprise the AI was extremely interactive and helpful. However my helmet still would not connect no matter what we did! All of a sudden Ana (human) appeared in the email string and took over! The short version of the story is Unit 1 replaced my helmet within 3 days!! Ana was quick and decisive! Also Told me to keep the first helmet, and Ana said let her know how it goes with this one, AGAIN in about 2 or 3 minutes my second helmet was connected and ready to go!! So!! as it turns out our research was accurate because the quality construction, fit and finish and current sevice support was EXCELLENT!! WE LOVE Unit 1 and Ana As to the visors, of which we purchased the clear and tinted lenses, they are as advertised in everyway. Easy to attach and or store on the helmets. Thanks again Ana!!!
About month into my purchase, the front light of the helmet was not fully lit up; I contacted the warranty department and with their help we went over some troubleshooting sequences. They were unable to correct the issue. They issued me another helmet with their deepest apologies and inconvenience. I received the helmet within a week. Brand new with no problems. I am really happy with their products, but most of all their customer service. These products are not cheap (cheap materials). They are built with quality and safety is something I don’t want cut corners. I purchased the back pack and extra lights and accessories. I will probably be purchasing more lights. Thank you
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Protected, Visible & Stylish- I Love My NEON Helmet! I absolutely love my UNIT 1 NEON Helmet! It gives me the perfect combination of protection, visibility, functionality, and style. I feel safer while riding without sacrificing the look I wanted in a helmet. One of my favorite features is the built-in signal lights on the back of the helmet. I was able to customize the light settings to my personal preference, which makes the helmet feel even more tailored to the way I ride. I also really appreciate the added safety feature that allows me to include an emergency contact through the QR code located on top of the helmet. It's one of those features you hope you never need, but I love knowing it's there. I did a lot of research before purchasing a helmet because safety and visibility were extremely important to me, and I am so grateful I found UNIT 1. It is a little pricey compared to some other helmets, but for me, the added safety features, technology, visibility, and overall functionality make it well worth the investment. When it comes to something designed to help protect me while I'm riding, those added features have real value. This helmet truly maximizes safety, visibility, and function while still being stylish. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I feel both protected and stylish every time I ride! 🚴🏾♀️🩷✨
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect Accessory for My UNIT 1 NEON Helmet! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! I absolutely love my UNIT 1 helmet shades! They are the perfect accessory for my NEON helmet and a great value for the price. They’re incredibly easy to use... just snap them onto the helmet and they’re securely in place. When I don’t need them, I love that I can simply store them right on top of my helmet, so they’re always within reach. The shades provide great coverage on sunny rides while adding an extra touch of style to an already great-looking helmet. They’re convenient, functional, and easy to switch between wearing and storing while I’m out riding. I’ve enjoyed these shades so much that I’ve already ordered the adaptive shades! Design is nice and so it’s shape and color. Love the look. My opinion is, the Bottle is ok but it be nice if they make it with like a double lining or some type of insulation as cold liquids get warm extremely fast.
Wonderful helmet, light weight with cool lights. My kid use it for biking and ice skating!
