By using this service you acknowledge helmets have a limited lifespan and must be replaced after 36 months even if the helmet shows no visible signs of damage and hasn’t been involved in a crash. You further acknowledge a helmet past its 36 month lifespan is no longer usable and may not protect you from impacts as intended.
By using this service you also acknowledge that a helmet may be damaged during a crash since it is the intended function of the helmet and that this does not entail a valid reason for a warranty claim.
By using this service, you, along with your heirs, executors, administrators and/or assigns waive any and all claims or causes of action of any kind arising out of your participation in the Service and/or the use of UNIT 1’s Products; and release and forever discharge UNIT 1 from any physical or psychological injury that you may suffer as a direct result of your participation in the Service and/or the use of UNIT 1’s products. You further agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless UNIT 1 against any and all claims, suits or actions of any kind whatsoever for liability, damages, or otherwise brought by you or anyone on your behalf, including attorney’s fees and any related costs.
*3 years / 36 months is the widely accepted industry standard for the lifespan of a cycling helmet. Even if no crashes are sustained during that period or if the helmet doesn’t show visible signs of damage, the impact absorbing capabilities of the helmet may be diminished, which is why cycling helmets need to be discarded and replaced after 36 months.

SPARKY’s battery lasts up to 25 hours of continuous use on a full charge. Perfect for evening rides, backyard missions, or indoor play.
When you turn the helmet on or off, the rear light briefly shows a glowing animation that indicates how much battery is left. This makes it easy to check the battery status at a glance.
SPARKY offers 45 light combinations to make every ride more fun and visible.
“Press Me” sticker shows where to tap to control the lights:
- 1 Tap → Change color
- 2 Taps → Change animation. Options include: Fireworks, Drops, Ripples, Bounce, Wave, Snake
- 8 Taps → Reset to default settings
Mode Retention: The helmet remembers your last-used settings, even after powering off
Best visibility: Use Flash animation for maximum visibility in low light
Yes, SPARKY Helmet meets two of the most widely recognized international safety standards: EN 1078 (EU Standard) and CPSC 1203 (U.S. Standard). SPARKY has been rigorously tested to meet both standards, ensuring your child is protected on every ride.
Each SPARKY helmet includes a built-in NFC (Near Field Communication) or a Safety ID chip that securely stores vital emergency info, like your child’s name, medical details, and your contact information.
If there’s an accident or the helmet gets lost, anyone with a smartphone can simply tap the helmet (no app needed) to instantly access this info and provide help or return the helmet.
How to scan the NFC chip:
- Hold your phone close to the chip (within ~4 inches / 10 cm).
- Tap the notification that appears.
- View the emergency details stored on the chip.
The SPARKY helmet is generally designed for children aged 3 to 9 years, but age is just a guideline. Head size is what really matters when it comes to helmet fit.
SPARKY fits head circumferences between 49 and 53 cm. To ensure the helmet will fit your child properly:
- Use a soft measuring tape to measure around your child’s head, just above the eyebrows.
- Compare the measurement to the 49–53 cm size range.
The helmet includes an adjustable fit system that helps fine-tune the fit as your child grows.
SPARKY is designed to grow with your child, thanks to its fully adjustable fit system. You can continuously adapt the helmet over the years using these two tools:
1. Fitting System
- Includes three adjustment holes to change the internal fit
- Test different positions to find the most comfortable setting as your child grows
2. Strap Adjustment
- Straps can be adjusted up/down and forward/back
- Ensure the strap sits snugly, leaving about a finger’s width between it and the chin
With these flexible features, SPARKY offers a secure and comfortable fit for children aged 3 to 9 (*approx. head size: 49–53 cm).
SPARKY helmet inserts are soft silicone accessories that fit into the vents of the SPARKY helmet. They add a playful, personal touch, allowing children aged3 to 9to express their style.
SPARKY inserts are engineered not to interfere with your helmet’s certified safety performance. They act as an added layer of innovation without modifying or replacing any official safety standards. In the event of an impact, the inserts are designed to dislodge intentionally, helping to absorb and redirect energy, thereby enhancing, rather than compromising, the helmet's protective function.
